Itinerary Day By Day
Day 1: Arrival in Moshi/Arusha
Arrive at Moshi or Arusha, where your driver will transfer you to your hotel. Take the day to rest, acclimatize, and prepare for the climb. Your guides will meet you to discuss the route, check your gear, and provide an orientation for the adventure ahead.
Day 2: Northern Circuit Gate to First Camp

The trail is gentle and scenic, allowing your body to begin adjusting to altitude. Overnight at First Camp.
Day 3: First Camp to Second Camp
The route gradually leaves the forest zone and enters heath and moorland landscapes. The terrain opens up, offering wide views across the Shira Plateau and the western slopes of Mount Kilimanjaro. The steady pace supports proper acclimatization. Overnight at Second Camp.
Day 4: Second Camp to Third Camp
Today’s trek crosses expansive alpine terrain with volcanic rock formations and sweeping mountain views. The Northern Circuit’s quiet and remote nature becomes more evident, providing a peaceful and immersive mountain experience. Overnight at Third Camp.
